What a great October! This means we have completed the celebration of National Disability Employment Month, highlighting the contributions of America’s workers with disabilities past and present and showcasing supportive, inclusive employment policies and practices.

For this month’s celebration, our very own CEO of I am Special Consulting LLC, Ms. Melissa Scales Hamilton, Commissioner of Prince George’s County, is chosen as the facilitator for this year’s, The Commission for Individuals with Disabilities Celebration.

I would also like to mention the Panelist for this year’s celebration, Ms. Valerie Berkeley of the Department of Family Services, Mr. William R. Brownlee of the Department of Rehabilitation Services, and Ms. Rochelle Harrod, Independence Now (Center for Independent Living, CIL).
